Ain’t That Good News

The road was long, but finally we’ve reached our destination. The album is now recorded and the mixing process is in full swing. We can’t yet give any precise details about the releasing date, but surely it’s coming closer every minute. We’ve got some superb tracks on the album. For example False Alarm, You King, A Well Kept Secret, Hope & Desire, Final Call, Imaginary Friend, No Halo, Heights and Light As A Feather will soon be playing on your turntable over and over again. Okay, more good news coming up soon.

Hi there. Next and hopefully the last recording sessions will be held early september. The album´s still lacking some backing vocals, trumpets and percussions. As always, will keep you informed. Bare with us.

Atom Tan

Hi there. We´ve been busy this weekend, believe or not. We went to Tampere (actually, we´re still here) to record the intro type thing and some instrumentals. Our sessions consisted of a lot of field recording – hitting lamp-posts, garbage bins, fences and whatnot. Some of the worked, a lot of them didn´t. But in the end we got some amazing sounds, put them together and it was.. magic. Recordings then moved indoors, where we nailed down some synths, guitar, harmonica etc.  So, now we´re looking at a total of 14  tracks. Some photos of our ventures will appear here in the coming days.

Antti is going to do some vocals (hopefully the rest) next week. Then the album will be almost done. But not quite

Back in the saddle

Back in the studio, finally. Those tiny problems (like the removal of our studio) are behind us, and now it’s time to finish the recordings. There’s still 6 songs without the vocals, and that’s about it. Should be done within “few” days. Then it’s time for mixing & mastering. And voilà!

So, it´s been a while since the last post… Vocals are being done – meticulously and slowly, that is. Due to other commitments the sessions for our sophomore album have been delayed a bit. Not to worry though, we´ll get back to work next month the latest. Songs such as Heights, Run for Your Life, A Well Kept Secret and Hope & Desire are done, nine more to go.

We´ve also started contemplating on the cover art, the tracklisting, the album title – the usual. More news on those will be posted asap.

We´re getting there, bare with us. It´ll be worth the wait.

So, we are almost ready. The album sounds amazing already. It’s gonna be a record of the century!
